About me

I am an experienced counsellor based in Gloucestershire.

My counselling style is to hold what you bring with a kind and gentle curiosity, recognising the huge courage it takes to step into a counselling room, and the compassion you need to sit with what is difficult.

I have a background in psychodynamic counselling, having trained with Gloucestershire Counselling Service, a highly regarded charity. Psychodynamic training recognises that our early experiences in life can shape how we experience things today, often in ways that we are not aware of. Through gentle support and exploration, we can work together to find greater understanding and meaning in our present experiences.

I am registered with the British Association of Psychotherapists and Counsellors (BACP). This means I work to high ethical and professional standards, and that I have regular supervision and ongoing training to ensure my practice is as safe and effective as it can be.

Alongside my work with private clients, I volunteer with Gloucestershire Counselling Service and Cotswold Counselling.
